Professor Akhlesh Lakhtakia will give a public lecture entitled "From Maxwell to Nanotechnology" on Thursday 17 April.

Akhlesh Lakhtakia is Charles G. Binder (Endowed) Professor of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Pennyslvania State University.

The Lecture will be held in Lecture Theatre 102, Michael Swann Building, King's Buildings, Edinburgh at 5.30pm. A reception will take place in the foyer at 5pm.

This is a free public event and is not ticketed. Please just turn up on the door.

The lecture will be chaired by Sir Michael Atiyah.
