The STEM Education Innovation by the Lake Workshop 2025 at the University of Cumbria, 9th-14th August, will bring together teachers, academics and education researchers from all STEM subjects to explore how people learn, and guide participants to design evidence-based teaching and learning strategies as well as methods to measure effectiveness of instruction. Participants will also receive ongoing guidance after the workshop to support the deliveries in their courses.
The self-contained sessions require no previous knowledge of education theories or education research. Therefore, academics who do not specialise in pedagogy are especially encouraged to attend.
