15 APRIL 2020 UPDATE: Course Requirements

If you think you may struggle to meet the 60 hours of training required in the first two years as required by SUPA because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we will of course be flexible on this. Please engage with your supervisor(s) to discuss the best way forward for completing these required hours and any additional hours you may wish to complete (SUPA is fully supportive of students continuing CPD beyond the required hours) throughout the rest of your doctorate.

If you require a course to be passed for more time sensitive reasons (e.g. progression, PG Cert, Chartership etc), we understand that this may be more concerning but please be aware that SUPA itself does not set course assessment requirements, rather each course is provided by a SUPA university and follows the rules of that university. All SUPA universities have introduced, or are in the process of introducing, ‘No detriment’ policies. Each of our courses will therefore follow the no detriment policies set out by the university which hosts the course, and you should expect to hear from your lecturers about any changes to the assessment.

1 APRIL 2020 UPDATE:
Current events mean that students and staff need to join lectures remotely, and changes to lectures are more likely. Please watch out for emails or notices in the News/Announcements section in your course page, as arrangements for courses may vary.

To join remotely, see "Joining remotely from another location" for advice for both students and lecturers.

PhD students or students in a SUPA university can sign-up for a new account here.

For existing students, grades and results from previous years will be available to you under your profile menu in top right. Under your name, click 'grades' and then select 'view grades from previous years.  Note that results from 2018/19 will be under link to "previous years".

How to enrol

Enrolment for courses opens when the timetable is confirmed.  You can enrol for a class until approximately two weeks after it starts. If you wish to enrol after registration has closed, please consult with the lecturer and request via SUPA Central.
After you have logged in, you may visit course areas listed by theme above or using the 'All courses' list. Click on 'enrol in this course' while viewing the course page to enrol.

Late enrolment may be possible but cannot be guaranteed because the rooms may have been booked for other events. Please contact the courses office by email.

You will be expected to participate fully in the courses for which you have enrolled. If you find you are unable to attend a lecture due to illness or other commitments, please let the course lecturer know.

Credit for non-SUPA courses:

Credit should be requested as per the procedures listed in the Student Handbook for the relevant type and level of course.
